Hurray for Spring !

March brought our Spring resources, including our Story telling Map, and of course lots of Flopsie Bun as we hopped into Easter! Hoppy Easter Everyone!

This Easter break we visited a Makaton Trail at a Castle and even took part in an egg and spoon race!

During April/May we cant wait to see how our DSUK SunFlowers grow and we have lots of MakaFun training and Resources planned through the rest of spring!

We couldn’t resist a trip to Pontefract Castle to sign with a knight and celebrate all things Easter!

Our Makaton for Early Years training has been in demand this month with lots of face to face training as well as on line, we have loved sharing our learning with you all!

Kerry and MakaFun Yorkshire attended the Big Bang, SENDiVERSE festival in Bradford. It was a joyous day filled with fun ( lots of MakaFun) and inspirational people, some picture in the gallery.

We love attending the Singing Hands live shows – great to network with our fellow Tutors and MakaFuners, but just a joyful experience for all!

Amanda and Kerry, recently attended the DSUK Conference, where we caught up with friends and Makaton Colleagues, and shared our MakaFun ethos.

We exchanged ideas and thoughts with others and have certainly been energised and inspired!
